It’s only natural that my career path led me to commercial real estate development. Some might say that I was bred for it. I was exposed to the terminology used for site development and construction since birth. My father is a civil engineer and my mother had a career in construction sales.
Initially, I decided to take a different career path than my parents. Early in my career, I landed in healthcare sales for a large pharmaceutical company and later business development for a large hospital organization. This career path offered valuable knowledge about the business needs of healthcare providers and corporate healthcare executives.
Of course, it took another important person in my life to show me that I could parlay my corporate healthcare expertise into an opportunity in commercial real estate development. My husband opened my eyes to the world of developing medical office buildings. Or MOBs as developers and healthcare professionals fondly call them.
My first major commercial real estate development project was a 90,000 sq. ft. MOB. While initially hired to champion marketing and sales, it only took a few weeks and I was immersed in site development and project management.
Having experience in both commercial real estate development and corporate healthcare has allowed me to embrace all aspects of each and every project. My understanding of the decision-making process that many corporations endure during expansion allows me to consistently execute projects that are timely, thoughtful and cost effective.
This business venture has come to represent a personal and professional homecoming for me. The creation of MacGregor Development allows me to bring together all of the knowledge and expertise that I have gained over the years and offer you the best service.
I look forward to continuing to grow my business within the medical and corporate retail areas. Currently, my portfolio includes projects for national and global corporations such as Ford, Quick Lane, T-Mobile and Starbucks.
Building to Success,
